13 Days Kenyan Prime Safari Circuit
Upon your arrival to Nairobi Kenya`s Capital; a full day to sample Nairobi city and its environs. Shopping malls, the monuments of Nairobi city center including the railway station, parliament building, and national archives to mention just a few. The following day the safari takes you to Maasai Mara, Kenya's most famous and finest game sanctuary famous for playing host to the greatest animal show - the annual wildebeest (gnus) migration. Then we retreat to Lake Naivasha shaking off the dust of the Mara along the silent shores of the fresh lake. Not so far a distance from Naivasha, we will head to Lake Nakuru famous for its pink-colored greater and lesser flamingos not to mention four of the big five and so many bird species.
We will then indulge you to the Central Kenya Tourism Circuit – Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Mount Kenya National Park right at the base of Mount Kenya where on clear days the coronet peaks of Batian and Nelion are seen. From here, we make an express connection to Nairobi – Jomo Kenyatta Airport to catch a 1 hr domestic flight to Mombasa arriving in the late afternoon. Check in to your beach hotel and enjoy the sunny beaches of the Kenyan Coast. The vacation ends after the beach extension after which you will be transferred back to Moi International Airport to catch your connecting flight back to Nairobi for your outbound flight
FULL ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to your City Hotel
Our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your city hotel for a layover.
Day 2: Nairobi Day Tour and Excursions
Full day at Nairobi City and its environs experiencing the fast life in the city center. Options of sampling a shopping mall or two for crafts or local Kenyan-made items.
We will also take you to the monuments and landmarks of the capital city of Kenya namely: The national archives, the railway station, the Kenya International Convention Center, Uhuru Park Gardens.
If you like, we take you for an evening dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant which is known for its succulent game meat at an extra but minimal cost: Overnight layover at either Sarova Panafric Hotel or Sarova Stanley
Day 3: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
At 0800hrs: Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and drive you to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. We will drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Indulge in a late afternoon game drive before driving back to our lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. We stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or its equivalent. In the night you can hear a chorus of different animal sounds as they communicate with each other in the darkness – What better way to experience bush by night?

Day 4: Full Day at Maasai Mara
We spend the full day at the Mara in search of the big cats as well as sighting other wildlife species indigenous to this ecosystem. Other than the Great wildebeest migration spectacle that occurs between July – October, the Masai Mara also offers wildlife in such variety and abundance. Over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily spot the Big Five - Lion, Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard, and Elephant.
The famous Maasai tribesmen also live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. {Meal plan: B, L & D}
Day 5: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Indulge in a pre-breakfast game drive (optional) before embarking at the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast. Check out and drive further to Lake Naivasha where you spend the afternoon at your own leisure. (Weather permitting, Optional activities like boat excursions or a guided walk at Crescent Island – This attracts an additional but minimal fee) Lunch, Dinner, and accommodation will be at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort or Enashipai Resort {Meal plan: B, L & D}
Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at one of the hotels in the cosmopolitan city of Nakuru. Spend the late afternoon indulging in a game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park (commonly referred to as the Pink Lake) which covers 180 sq km. The park is home to Lion, Warthog, Waterbuck, Buffalo, Reedbuck, and the occasional Leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhinos at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologist's delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, check out with a packed lunch en route or time permitting a hot lunch in one of the lodges along the way. Arrive in time to catch the feeding time of the chimps at the Sweet Waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary before indulging in a late afternoon game drive. Day 8: Full day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Spend the day at your own leisure with the option of morning and afternoon game drives at this world’s largest rhino sanctuary. Accommodation at the luxury Sweet Waters Serena Camp

Day 9: Ol Pejeta – Nyeri – Mt Kenya National Park
{approximate transit time: 1 – 2hrs} After breakfast, depart for Nyeri town and head to the cultural centre near Outspan Hotel for a feel of the rich history of the Agikuyu people and their pride in playing a major role in liberating Kenya from its colonial era. After the indulgence in this, head to Serena Mountain Lodge for the afternoon. Mt Kenya Safari Club borders Mount Kenya National Park and is structured in British colonial style. It has beautiful features such as a maze, a mini chapel ideal for a destination wedding, an 18-hole golf course, horse ride excursions, and an animal orphanage which is home to the rare sitatunga among other wildlife species {Meal plan: B, PL, D}
Day 10: Mt Kenya N. Park – Nairobi – Mombasa

After breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport (JKIA) in time to catch a one-hour domestic flight to Mombasa. The estimated time of arrival (subject to availability of the afternoon flight) is 1700 hours. Transfer to your beach hotel where you will spend the next couple of days.
Day 11 & 12: Mombasa Island
Spend full days at Mombasa with optional beach activities. The Kenyan coast offers snorkeling options from Mombasa Marine Park / Malindi / Watamu and the spectacular pristine Kisite Mpunguti Marine Parks. Any ground excursions to these places can always be arranged at an optional and fair extra cost. {Meal plan: B, D}
Day 13: Mombasa – Nairobi – Outbound
On this day, you have an option of checking out of the hotel and indulging in any other activity at your own leisure as you wait to be transferred to the Mombasa airport in time to catch your 1600hrs domestic flight to Nairobi before connecting your onward outbound flight.
