Day 1: Arrival at JKIA – City Hotel
Meet and greet services at the airport upon arrival, transfer to your overnight hotel at the outskirts of the City Center – Sarova Panafric or equivalent on Bed and Breakfast basis
Day 2: Nairobi –Full Day at Maasai Mara
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel and brief you on the safari before you proceed to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. We will drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or its equivalent
Day 3: Full Day at Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast, we spend a full day in search of the Cats of Mara. This Reserve forms part of the Great Masai Mara -Serengeti Eco-system. Picnic lunch will be served at the Mara River Hippo Pool where Hippos and Crocodiles can be viewed basking along the river bed. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange-tinted sunsets and you will definitely want to capture this moment while sipping on a sun downer back at our lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or its equivalent. All meals included (B,L,D)
Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en route. We later proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park which is world famous for its stunning flocks of lesser flamingoes which turn its shores pink. The park is also home to Lion, Warthog, Waterbuck, Buffalo, Reedbuck, Leopard among other. White and black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists' delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or equivalent
Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli via Nairobi
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Nairobi Safari Park Hotel for a hot lunch after which we depart for Amboseli National Park with an option of doing a late afternoon game drive. This will complete the day and allow you to see and experience the wilds of Africa in their natural state. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or its equivalent
Day 6: Amboseli National Park
We spend a full day in the park with morning and late afternoon game drives. Mount Kilimanjaro provides a beautiful backdrop. A visit to a Maasai Manyatta will enrich your cultural experience with the local people who are known to co-exist with the wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or its equivalent
Day 7: Amboseli – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we exit Amboseli drive to Namanga border, and proceed further to Arusha and eventually to L. Manyara. This is an alkaline lake and at certain times of the year hosts thousands of flamingos and a diversity of other bird life. In the heat of the day, Lions can be seen stretched on the branches of flat-topped acacia trees a habit only endemic to Manyara lions. Along with these amazing tree-climbing Lions, there are the usual browsers and grazers as well as over 380 species of birdlife. Late afternoon game drive, Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or its equivalent
Day 8: Lake Manyara – Tree climbing lions
Spend a full day at L. Manyara with Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or its equivalent. All meals included (B,L,D)
Day 9: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Reserve
After breakfast, check out and drive to Serengeti National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at Serena Serengeti Lodge
Indulge in an afternoon game drive before retiring for dinner and overnight at Serena Serengeti Lodge or its equivalent
Day 10: Full day at Serengeti
A pre-breakfast game drive and later enjoy a sumptuous breakfast while basking under the African Serengeti Sun and spend the rest of the morning at own leisure before retreating for lunch.
Indulge in another afternoon game drive till dusk. Serengeti is Africa's largest national park and also one of its most popular. The park has an incredible number of animals, wildebeest being the most populous followed by zebra. African Elephants are notably scarce. Cheetahs and the rest of the big cats are regularly sighted along the vast Serengeti plains. There are a few remaining endangered black rhinos which are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.
The park is also famous for the wildebeest migration often described as one of the most impressive and phenomenon spectacles in the natural world. Dinner and overnight at Serena Serengeti Lodge or its equivalent. All meals included (B,L,D)
Day 11: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive with game drive en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Lunch at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Spend the afternoon at own leisure with dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 12: Ngorongoro full day
Enjoy an early breakfast after which we descend into the crater with picnic lunches for a full-day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. The Crater has one of the densest predator populations in the world. Elephant, lion, zebra,
Wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found here. Grasslands, swamps, lakes; rivers, woodlands, mountains, and an incredible abundance of wildlife are all present in this wondrous microcosm of Africa. In the neighborhood, the Olduvai Gorge cuts through rock beds layered in time sequence from 2 million years ago to the present. It is here where humanoid bones have been found dating back to over 1.75 million years including a direct ancestor of modern man. Fossil footprints (over three million years old) have also been found here and are the most ancient footprints yet discovered. There is an excellent site museum where you can explore the diggings with a guide and it is also a great place to view birds such as the Purple Grenadier, Red and Yellow Barbet, Speckle fronted Weaver among others. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Day 13: Ngorongoro - Arusha –Nairobi
After breakfast, check out and embark on a drive to arrive in Arusha in time for lunch at Impala Hotel. After lunch continue to Nairobi aboard a regular shuttle bus and drop off at Panafric hotel. Pick up from Panafric hotel and drive to Carnivore Restaurant. This restaurant is famous for its succulent steaks as welcome or farewell dinner. Later our staff we will transfer you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight home.
